Challenge: A man called AccessDirect who had two toll free numbers for the past twenty-five years. He had ‘taken them with him’ or moved/ported the numbers three times, and he was actually having them forwarded from his old phone company to his new phone company. He was already paying double for the numbers, but he didn’t want to get rid of them because every customer he’d ever had already knew the numbers, and they were heavily advertised. His bills were outrageous and he wanted to find a way to cut costs. AccessDirect, allows you to keep phone numbers.
Solution: We ported the numbers to the AccessDirect service so that the customer no longer had to pay for two phone companies to host his toll free numbers for him. Together, the numbers are less expensive than he was paying for one number with the other companies. We simply forward, or transfer the calls to his local number if someone calls his toll free numbers.
Results: The customer was very happy that we were able to port both of his numbers to our service. He is happy with the fact that the numbers never ‘go down’ as was the case with his other providers. He feels comfortable because he’s had the numbers for so long, and it gives his customers the option to still contact him that way if they wish to do so. He is also glad that he doesn’t have the hassle of paying two phone bills anymore, as he is on auto-pay monthly with AccessDirect.
