Challenge: A customer called me who wanted a five extension package, or a DR2, for $39.95. He had five different employees who he wanted his clients to be able to reach. The problem was that each of the five employees worked during different times of the day. He wanted AccessDirect to set up an Auto Attendant Phone System where each of the extensions could execute the call-transfer or ‘find me follow me’ feature only during the hours the person was working, and go directly to voicemail when the person was off. We needed to set up a custom auto attendant answering system for this client.
Solution: Access Direct custom built the auto-attendant for this customer that fit the needs of him, his employees and his customers. The find-me-follow-me is programmed to reach each of his employees or extensions at different times in the day, and messages are taken when the employees are not available.
Results: The customer is extremely pleased at how well the AccessDirect auto attendant answering system works for his needs. His employees can all still work their separate hours, and they don’t have to worry about having their cell phone ring when they are ‘off the clock.’ The customer was very appreciative and thrilled that AccessDirect was able to provide this unique set up for his business, as other similar services would not change the ‘find-me’ times for each of his mailboxes.
